Design and Publishing for an exclusive client gift
A photobook dedicated to all those companies which value their talents
THE IDEA
silent architecture is a project envisioned by Mercurio Studio, driven by its commitment to showcasing the talents that define its team. It is the perfect client gift to promote culture and communicate the brand’s vision.
PROJECT
The book features a selection of architectural photographs by Andrea Bedin, photographer who has collaborated with Mercurio Studio since its inception. This project invites a fresh perspective on space, offering a reflection on the power of architectural photography to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.
DESIGN AND VISUAL
LANGUAGE
The minimalist aesthetic that defines Andrea Bedin’s visual language is reflected in a coherent design. The typography is essential, and the structured layout follows a clear and deliberate rhythm, allowing the photographs to take center stage. A final index connects each image to the location where it was taken, turning the book into a true atlas of contemporary architecture.
MATERIALS
AND FINISHES
This publication is a multisensory experience – even the book’s opening releases a distinctive scent. The dust jacket with flaps is printed on the same paper as the interior pages: Coral Book White, with a weight of 140. The flexible cover is made of Fedrigoni Materica Acqua paper, with a weight of 360, with silver foil stamping on the front cover and spine.
With its compact format, 21 cm high and 16 cm wide, sewn binding with red thread, and offset printing, this 128-page book embodies elegance and fine craftsmanship, offering a source of pure visual inspiration.
