Roner. The captivating aesthetics of the most iconic spirits

PROJECT

La Roner Distillery is a South Tyrolean brand founded in 1946, renowned and award-winning for its production of high-quality spirits. Mercurio has refreshed its digital cocktail book with a contemporary visual language featuring fresh and vibrant tones.

The cocktail book includes seven categories: aperitifs, gin-based drinks, grappa-based drinks, winter drinks, rum-based drinks, fancy drinks, and non-alcoholic drinks. The originality and attention to detail with which each drink is presented reflect the quality of the raw ingredients.

VISUAL LANGUAGE

The photographic project reflects the brand’s values – from the impeccable lighting setup to the symmetrical composition, from the creativity of the background elements to the image post-production aimed at achieving a standard of perfection and utmost cleanliness.

The art direction project established visual connections between colors, shapes, and volumes in the backgrounds and the various drink categories – such as the fan for the most chic drinks, the arches to represent the more refined and authoritative ones, and the bubbles to convey lightness and fun.

AESTHETIC

In every aesthetic choice, the sensitivity and inspiration of the photography team also play a key role. In addition to defining a harmonious color palette, other chromatic decisions were made: the 3D visual elements were integrated tone-on-tone with the background, while contrasting tones were used to pair each drink with its corresponding background color.
